The realization that post-covid era will alter the dynamics of every customer segment and its behavior, has pulled us into starting an online platform for home furnishing. We understand that for products like furniture, the customer satisfaction is directly proportional to the customer’s experience of having to touch and feel the furniture. We started this online platform with a long-term vision of creating small experience centres throughout the major cities of India.
The first thought of OSM furnishers kicked our brains on 11 May 2020 and we launched our first demo – online store by the 2 Oct 2020. The business is based on a single but strong belief that we understand our customers, their needs and wants. This is derived from the wealth of experience from the past 6 years in the furniture manufacturing sector. This has enabled us in providing quality and premium range furniture directly to our customers at factory cost, thus making our supply chain shorter and profitable for our stakeholders.

Non-toxic, eco-friendly furniture is not only a plus for the environment, but also for the place you call home. We want the materials we use to be as clean and sustainable as possible. It’s a constant work in progress, because we’re always finding new things to improve on. The way we do things is surprisingly different from the rest of our industry. Learning about this stuff can get confusing, but we’re here to make it easy for you. Here’s what we’re made of.
Wood we use are gone through Vaccum pressure chemical treatment and seasoning. We use Non-Toxic chemicals for treatment which will protect wood from attack of small insect like borers. Seasoning help to reduce moisture content which make furniture’s that will be around for the long haul.
We offer two kinds of foam cushions- hard foam at base and softy foam at top layer for added comfort. With increase in need for comfort we use pocket spring and zig zag for extra premium sofas and also recron sheets or recron fibres for maximum comfort
We spend a lot of time obsessing about fabrics, and we’re always sourcing new ones and trying to raise our standards.We make sure we use higher GSM fabric and we advice our customer the same for durability.We use Fabrics of brands D-DÉCOR, Sarom, Fabio, GTA, Roseline and leather from Bangalore for leather sofas
We use Panel Saw from Austria to accurate sizing of boards or strip from sheets of particle boards, wood laminates and plywood which help in providing perfect joint free assembly which is made possible by accurate sliding system with aluminium profile section which is not at all possible with manual hand cutter machine. Unlike manual edge banding in which only .5 mm edge bending is possible we use “Rapid Edge” Automatic Through Feed edge banding machine of Taiwan which help us to tap end with 2mm or 3mm edge banding of same colour and finish with out

OSM doesn’t believe in investing heavly on brick-and-mortar store, instead small Experience centres through major cities. That’s on purpose, so we can keep our prices lower (the cost of renting a retail space isn’t something we want to charge you for). We’re obsessed with quality, comfort, and eco-friendly materials. And it all comes right from our hands, to your home
Most furniture right now is industrially mass-produced Most of that furniture is manufactured, dyed, spill-proofed, etc.with poor quality materials and with lack of excellent craftmenship just to compromise rate to ease the competitive world And when you start to do some research (like we did), you find out: This is stuff you’d rather not have around the house, and for pieces such as our sofas and sectionals, we make sure of it.

Sometimes to go forward, you have look back. How did a piece of furniture get made 50 years ago, before mass production, mystery chemicals, and overseas shipping? We wanted our workshop to be more like that (with a few modern tweaks, of course). All our furnishings are built right here, at our workshop and Each piece is made especially for you when you order it. We think that’s best for a few reasons.
